Objectives

The objective of the project is to enhance youth employability, civic engagement, and social cohesion through cultural mediation. By equipping youth with skills in communication, project management, and heritage promotion across multiple disciplines (history, arts, digital culture, etc), the project fosters active citizenship. It also supports youth workers by providing tools for inclusive cultural mediation and promoting professionalization with Europass certification.

Activities

The project will implement activities across key Work Packages: - Develop cultural mediation models and a heritage booklet (WP2) - Conduct youth training on interdisciplinary cultural mediation, followed by testing, self-assessment, and the creation of independent mediation projects (WP3) - Create and test a toolbox, best practices guide, and adaptation modules with youth workers (WP4) - Disseminate results through events, publications, and partnerships to ensure long-term impact (WP5)

Impact

The project will produce key results including: a heritage booklet and 10 interdisciplinary cultural mediation models (WP2), a comprehensive training program for 200 youth, leading to 10 youth-led mediation projects (WP3), and a toolbox, best practices guide, and adaptation modules tested by 20 youth workers (WP4). Outcomes include enhanced civic engagement, increased youth and youth worker professionalization, and broader adoption of cultural mediation practices across Europe.
