▶Objectives
The "Let's Plant a Sustainable Future!" Erasmus+ KA210-SCH small-scale partnership project is based on the new innovative learning-teaching program of the Hungarian Debreceni Gönczy Pál Primary School. During the implementation of the project, the partner institutions, the Bulgarian OU "Vasil Levski" Primary School and the Sofular İmam Hatip Ortaokulu Primary School in Turkey adapt the learning-teaching program in their schools' curricula in accordance with their needs and local conditions.
▶Activities
Teachers participating in the project become familiar with the learning-teaching program. They study the activities of the applicant school. They adapt the program to their needs according to the local specificities. The school garden environment is improved as a learning space and is planted with indigenous fruit crops. The participants visit the Bulgarian and Hungarian school gardens that are developed into new learning spaces for the innovative learning and teaching methods.
▶Impact
The cooperating institutions have a learning and teaching program adapted to their local curricula and environmental conditions. Teachers get to know each other's good practices. In an activity-based, play-based learning process, the students are engaged, enjoy their work and experience the results of their work. Their key competences improve. Students learn about the similarities and differences in geography and culture that can make differences in fruit growing.
