▶Objectives
The project aims to create, by the active and multifarious inclusion of 21st century transferrable life skills, a trainee teacher programme which encompasses both methodologies and materials development, thus enabling trainees to work effectively in any socio-culturally heterogeneous educational environment of any level and fostering an effective paradigm shift in the landscape of learning.
▶Activities
The project includes the design of a 20-credit module consisting of 4 courses: a framework course, and 3 individual courses (1 course by each partner institution), with a repository of educational materials, based on and reflecting individual expertise and specifics. Knowledge transfer is also an integral part of the project in the form of workshops for project participants, pilot courses and summer university for trainees.
▶Impact
The project aims to train future teachers who can function properly in any socio-culturally heterogenous educational environment and can apply a modern teaching toolkit stemming from the teaching habits and attitudes developed through our programmes to fully utilise the potential of language instruction as a tool for raising awareness of a wide range of real-life issues by which it seeks to deepen and promote a wider awareness of global values with an emphasis on European core values.
