Summary

The Play and Grow project will focus on supporting children aged 3-6 who have experienced trauma through therapeutic play. Play-based interventions will be used to promote emotional resilience, social skills, and emotional self-regulation in a safe environment. We will create a play-based toolkit that educators and caregivers can use to support children’s emotional recovery from trauma. It will be available in multiple languages to ensure accessibility.

Impact

Trained educators and caregivers across partner countries equipped with skills to support emotional healing in children using play-based methods. A multilingual therapeutic play toolkit that will be distributed to schools and early childhood centers across the partner countries. A series of structured therapeutic play sessions integrated into school and early childhood center routines, offering consistent emotional support.
