Raise awareness of sustainability and EU green policies among librarians and communities. Empower librarians to become agents of change in their local areas. Promote green practices in libraries through practical initiatives. Strengthen the European dimension of public libraries as civic spaces.

Assessment of awareness and skills of librarians Training program (20-24 hours) on sustainability, European policies, and community engagement. Study visit to Portugal: 10 librarians visit libraries implementing green practices. Mini-initiatives: Implementation of 4 activities in Italy and Portugal, with cross-border comparison. Toolkit development: Practical guide for libraries to adopt green practices, co-created with participants.
