Objectives

The project addresses current challenges: – a large ageing population, climate crisis and digital barriers – impacting both people's health and the planet. In a broader perspective, it aims to promote a healthy, sustainable and life-sustaining way of living, fostering green ageing and growth for everyone, especially vulnerable individuals, targeting teachers, educators and seniors (55+). This approach promotes wellbeing, ecological awareness, and digital skills, creating a holistic impact.

Activities

The project will consist of: -a Research Phase, including 9 focus groups, a questionnaire and guidelines created according to the research results; -Training and Educational Activities, including a transnational 6-days training, a training guide, 2 sets of educational materials: a pack of 20 cards with eco-somatic practices and a nature embodiment journal entitled “My Body and Earth: Ecosomatic Practices for Green Aging journal” and 6 local workshops; -awareness campaigns; -3 multiplier events.

Impact

The aim is contributing to the wellbeing of individuals and the planet, addressing the challenges posed by an ageing population, climate crisis and digital barriers. Tangible Results: guidebook on the research results,a training course, a training guide, 2 educational tools, 6 workshops. Intangible Results: elevated climate crisis awareness, fostered green ageing, improved digital capacity for the target groups,increased opportunities for small organisations,enhanced international collaboration.
