Objectives

The project aims to create an integrated educational system forming an ""educating community"" involving schools, public institutions, and third-sector organizations to reduce psycho-social distress and the risk of school dropout. It offers a holistic and sustainable education that engages students in active citizenship practices, empowering them to contribute meaningfully to their communities and fostering a sense of responsibility towards societal and environmental challenges.

Activities

Creation of a transnational “educational community” and development of a Digital toolkit for teachers to implement the Arcipelago educational approach. Training sessions and in-person and online workshops to disseminate project results and involve key stakeholders. Implement a digital platform for teachers to share best practices and the educational methodologies developed in the project. 3 final events to share the educational methodology, the project results and develop the community.

Impact

Key results include the development of an “educating community,” fostering collaboration among schools, families, and organizations, as well as new curricula blending formal and non-formal education, the development of an online toolkit adopted by 64 educators and used as a future a key resource for training and implementing integrated educational pathways. The toolkit and dissemination materials will reach over 500 educators and 45 local organizations
