The project aims to: -Develop fact-checking and debating skills as a foundation for the cross-curricular teaching of civic education. -Support teachers in developing innovative teaching approaches by providing debate techniques to motivate students. -Promote reflection on European democratic values, fostering critical, inclusive, and collaborative thinking in young people. -Foster respect for diversity, preventing radicalization and polarization.
▶Activities
-Development of a multilingual Ebook Toolkit for teachers on debate and media literacy, with modules on fact-checking, deep fakes, argument analysis, active listening, and management of debate clubs -Establishment of debate clubs in each partner school -Monthly coaching sessions and quarterly online workshops -4 training meetings in Belgium, Poland, Lithuania and Italy -Skills assessment. -Dissemination through website, social media channels, Erasmus+ platforms, in-presence and online events

-A multilingual Ebook Toolkit on debate and media literacy for teachers -Integration of debate and media literacy methodology into the curricula -Establishment of 4 debate clubs with 8 teacher-coaches and 32 students -Increase of 30% in fact-checking skills, critical thinking, and support for democratic values. -Enhancement of teachers' professional skills -Online dissemination, European events, and local stakeholders’ engagement for the project's future sustainability.
