▶Objectives
The project, closely linked to Goals 5, 10 and 11 of Agenda 2030, addresses the gender gap to counter a dichotomous and stereotypical social model. It proposes, in an innovative way through gamification, positive models and standards of reference and impact for future generations. Aware of the need to appeal to young people in particular, the project aims to raise awareness of the need to address the negative impact of gender stereotypes. The use of immersive methodologies involves young people.
▶Activities
The project proposes a reflection on the stereotype through an immersive and metaphorical game (EDULARP), to unhinge the role of inner genres. Starting from the experience of the Erasmus + project YOU ARE, we will co-design workshops, pilot test and create a LARP open to all citizens managed by the young people themselves. At the end, we will create a new visual language thanks to an art workshop that will elaborate stereotypes’ perception of participants creating posters and graphic novels.
▶Impact
This project aims to create data and materials that support research on gender gap and under-representation of women. To generate new visual material that communicates in a respectful, valuing and fair way what the results and women are. It seeks to have an impact on policymakers, enhancing society's approach to gender equality. The goal is to equip young people, participating citizens and involved organizations with skills to understand gender symbologies, challenging societal norms.
