โ–ถObjectives

Our aim is to empower young people to valorise parks as tools for environmental education through digital innovation and gamification. Specific objectives are: SO 1: Engage young NEETs in becoming active promoters of environmental education activities, by enhancing their competencies SO 2: Enhance the digital and non-formal learning capacity of organisations across Europe to ensure youth work becomes more resilient and inclusive, especially when delivering outdoor activities to young people.

โ–ถActivities

The project involves the development of digital tools for youth workers, young people, park administrators, and associations to valorise parks across Europe as places for community cohesion and environmental and biodiversity education. We will develop the first European park digital map and the PARKCONNECT app, a user-generated content app to organise treasure hunts in European parks. Young people will be empowered to deliver these activities on a national and international level.

โ–ถImpact

The results of the project are: 1. EU Parks Digital Map: a digital tool to connect European parks, and share events and good practices in environmental/biodiversity education and community cohesion across Europe. 2. PARKCONNECT app: a tool for youth workers and young people to organise and deliver treasure hunts as learning experiences. 3. 18 NEETs acquire youth work skills to pursue a career in this field. 4. Over 365 people are reached through the project events
