Objectives

The LUMOS project aims to develop a virtual/hybrid training program, including a comprehensive Professional Development Program, to support teachers working with gifted students in mainstream classrooms. Key objectives include enhancing academic and emotional outcomes for gifted students, improving teacher expertise through tailored training and ongoing professional development, increasing parent engagement, building school capacity for sustainable support, expanding international collaboration.

Activities

The LUMOS project will involve project coordination, partner meetings, development of teacher training content, and AI/STEAM learning plans. Teachers will complete both Initial and International Training. Activities include classroom implementation, support, mentoring, parent workshops, translation of materials, surveys, dissemination, multiplier events, project fairs, and program accreditation, ensuring broad impact and sustainability.
