Objectives

The primary objective of the CrafDi project is to empower rural artisans in Latvia, Greece, and Turkey by providing them with digital literacy and e-commerce skills. The project aims to equip artisans with the tools to create and manage online shops, access global markets, and sustain their cultural heritage while improving their economic resilience. This will foster cross-cultural exchange, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.

Activities

The project will implement activities such as developing training materials for artisans to create and manage online shops, delivering digital literacy workshops on e-commerce and content creation, and hosting cross-cultural Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT) events. Additionally, we will establish an online marketplace and hold dissemination events to share project results. These activities will enhance artisans' digital skills and market access.

Impact

The project aims to achieve the following results: improved digital literacy and e-commerce skills among rural artisans, allowing them to successfully manage online shops; enhanced market access, leading to increased sales and income; the preservation of cultural heritage through digital tools; and stronger cross-cultural collaboration between artisans in Latvia, Greece, and Turkey, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
