STEAM - take it outside!

The overall objective/aim of this project is through cooperating and exchanging of experience and good practice, to create outdoor STEAM lesson plans and activity centers, that promote environmental awareness, green thinking in children and create conditions for recognising, exploring, experimenting and curiosity.

The overall objective/aim of this project is through cooperating and exchanging of experience and good practice, to create outdoor STEAM lesson plans and activity centers, that promote environmental awareness, green thinking in children and create conditions for recognising, exploring, experimenting and curiosity.
▶Activities
It`s planned to implement following activities: -1 online meeting/Kick-off to get to know each other and to start the work in the project -6 short-term joint staff training events (2 cycles): 1st with the aim of professional development; 2nd: quality control and adoption of good practice -In parallel to mobilities professional development of teachers on STEAM, work on STEAM activity plans and establishment of outdoor centres -Organizing of dissemination activities and events of project results
▶Impact
Most important expected results: -implementation of measures for exchange of experience and transfer of good practice, acquisition of new knowledge about teaching/learning in the outdoor environment; -acquiring/improving of knowledge about the STEAM learning approach; -development of STEAM activity plans and establishment of STEAM outdoor activity centers, which will help to promote green thinking, build an inclusive local educational ecosystem and create interest in STEM subjects.
