▶Objectives
Through the project, the participants will enhance their competence in sustainable business development, thereby becoming better drivers of green transition among SMEs. In the long term, the goal is for SMEs in the region to develop more sustainable business models, reduce their carbon footprint, and strengthen their competitiveness. Furthermore, we aim to strengthen Nordic cooperation and learn from best practices in the participating organisations.
▶Activities
The main activities of the project include a study trip to Drivhuset in Gothenburg (located in one of EU's Regional Innovation Valleys, West Sweden), a study trip to partners in Sogndal, and workshops where we reflect on the learning from various projects and activities, and discuss how this knowledge and experience can best be used in further work on the green transition in SMEs in the region. We will explore both how we can improve existing activities and what new activities we can implement.
▶Impact
The project will enhance the competence of Kunnskapsparken Vestland, Sogn Næring, and HVL Sogndal, as well as Drivhuset, in helping SMEs become drivers of the green transition. In the long term, SMEs in the region will become more sustainable, with reduced emissions and resource consumption, contributing to Norway, and the EU achieving their climate and environmental goals. The knowledge gained by the project partners will also be shared with sister organisations to reach even more SMEs.
