Objectives

EUfolk is a project that seeks to highlight the common values that govern all European peoples through the examination of myths and oral traditions and through the active participation of young and older people in its activities in order to strengthen intergenerational ties and emphasise the importance of intercultural cooperation within the EU context.

Activities

The EUfolk activities include: -TPMs in two of the three participant countries -Online meetings Organisation of workshops culminating in video creation with older people’s oral narrations -Research about common European values -Creation of educational materials (textbook) and digital content (videos and digital catalogue) -Dissemination events and activities.

Impact

The project’s main results are expected to be: -A recognition of the existence of a common ground in the values of European peoples, which deepens their bonds and sense of belonging. -The preservation of valuable oral assets of European heritage. - Encouraging older individuals to recognise their EU role. - Fostering intergenerational collaboration through interaction and the use of digital tools. -Awareness of the EU's shared culture, as well as the development of European consciousness.
