▶Objectives
The main motivation behind this project idea is to increase students’ awareness against water related issues such as misuse of water resources, pollution of lakes, rivers, seas etc. The students, especially those with some further disadvantages such as those from families with financial problems, etc, will be encouraged to work on water related issues and generate some STEM, Robotics, ICT etc. based solutions to prove both that these problems can be solved.
▶Activities
Partners agree to build a common understanding to integrate STEM and enrich students problem solving skills while encouraging them to develop their team work and communication skills. Thus, each partner will organize a set of activities which will enrich our students’ and teachers’ capacity; Spain: STEM In Water Shortage And Its Provision Turkiye: Water in climate change and its sustainable utilisation Poland: STEM For Water Purity. Water In Our Lives
▶Impact
Our activities will enable students and teachers in; - Observing real-life issues on water policies - Getting aware of climate change - Using STEM skills to test their creativity - Collecting essential data to enrich their problem solving skills - Raising their awareness against environmental problems among participants and in wide public - Integrating STEM and Water Based issues into ongoing school subjects - Active involvement in eTwinning and Scientix projects
