Objectives

Our project aims to raise awareness about climate change among students by combining environmental education with digital storytelling and creative skills. We aim to develop students' critical thinking and problem solving abilities through hands-on workshops and collaborative activities. By promoting interdisciplinary learning, the project aims to develop STEM and creative skills, especially among girls, and to provide a deeper understanding of global environmental issues.

Activities

We will implement two Learning, Teaching and Training activities focusing on storytelling through animation and filmmaking. Students and teachers from partner organisations will participate in interactive workshops integrating environmental issues with digital creation tools. Ongoing engagement will be ensured through theAnimate the Climate platform and online content sharing.

Impact

Expected outcomes include the creation of more than 50 animations and films on climate change, the development of educational resources (e.g. lesson plans, technical manuals), and an increase in participants' digital and environmental knowledge. We expect increased participation of students, especially girls, in STEM fields and creative digital media. The project will foster a lasting network of educators and students committed to climate awareness and interdisciplinary learning.
