Objectives

The aim of the project is to create learner-centred approach to AI education for middle/secondary school levels, capable of providing students with a deeper understanding about AI - what it is, how it works, its limitations, moral and social implications, and to empower teachers to engage in AI education at school. We aim to equip middle/secondary school teachers to address competencies of delivering AI in schools and to adopt the new playful and learner-centred methodology.

Activities

The main activities include: - development of the AI SKILLS FRAMEWORK for TEACHERS of middle/secondary schools, - creation and implementation of training workshops for middle/secondary school teachers to prepare them to address AI topics in class and use the AI 4 Good results, - Increasing the AI curriculum adoption across member states through AI 4 Good dissemination activities, such as the final Conference in Athens and communication channels (social media, web, video, other content).

Impact

The main results include: 1) Needs Analysis for Targeted Training (D2.1): identifying specific skills gaps and needs in AI curriculum 2) AI Skills Framework Development (D2.2): is the foundation for training AI4Good training activities 3) Development of effective training materials, including educational resources, content(D3.2). 4) Training Implementation (D3.4) 5) Lifelong Learning and Professional Development (D3.5) These will support school teachers in delivering AI curriculum.
