▶Objectives
The primary aim of the project is to support the green competences of farmers, foresters, advisors and educators by popularizing agroforestry and rural trees in Poland. The foundation of the project is cooperation with partners from France, who have many years of experience in shaping agricultural landscapes, supporting farmers in creating agroforestry farms and designing rural trees. The project serves to develop innovation and transfer good practices.
▶Activities
The project will include an international exchange: practical training for Poles in France "Green transformation as a chance for our planet" and a study trip for the French to Poland "Tree as the foundation of cooperation". A face-to-face training will be held in Poland and two online trainings, one in Poland and the other in France, aimed at popularizing the knowledge gained by the participants of the international exchange.
▶Impact
The result of the activities will be the education of an agroforestry advisor who will support farmers in establishing agroforestry farms and rural trees. The result of the project will be the dissemination of knowledge and popularization of these systems among farmers, foresters and educators. The actions we propose will enable the development of cooperation within the local community based on innovative regenerative: economics and leadership, and will develop cooperation with France.
