Objectives

The SAGE Initiative aims to empower young people (22-35 years old), especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds such as women, people living in rural areas or with disabilities, low-income families or migrants; to succeed as social and green entrepreneurs through non-formal learning methods to build practical skills and wisdom to run socially responsible and sustainable enterprises that address environmental, social and economic challenges as a viable way to enhance youth employability.

Activities

- Conduct youth vision assemblies to gather insights and co-create non-formal learning pathways based on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles together with target groups. - Develop an online platform and a comprehensive toolkit, along with an Implementation Guidebook. - Train mentors (youth workers and entrepreneurs), establish Youth Impact Hubs to support young aspiring entrepreneurs, produce a success journal to showcase outcomes and engage stakeholders in an online forum.

Impact

- Create an inclusive ecosystem that supports social and green entrepreneurship for young people. - Development of a pathway, aligned with ESG principles and based on non-formal methodologies. - SAGE e-toolkit and platform to solve the skills gaps. - Implementation Guidebook to support youth workers and entrepreneurs. - Cross-disciplinary mentorship training. - Establishment of Youth Impact Hubs to match young people with mentors. - SAGE Success Journal. - Stakeholder engagement.
