The TransparencyChain project aims to make blockchain-based provenance tracking accessible to craftspeople from different backgrounds through VET. By developing a scalable platform and providing training, the project will enhance transparency in the craft sector, ensuring ethical sourcing and sustainable production. The project will also foster digital skills, helping craftspeople improve their market competitiveness through digital marketing strategies.

The TransparencyChain project will research the craft sector's needs, develop a blockchain-based provenance tracking platform, and create learning materials. The project will implement a pilot programme in Portugal where their experts will train 4 VET educators to train 30 to 40 craftspeople and suppliers using the platform.
