▶Objectives
The AWARE project aims to equip parents, educators, and community members with the knowledge and tools needed to protect children from online risks such as cyberbullying, inappropriate content, and internet addiction. By raising awareness, promoting digital literacy, and providing practical resources, the project seeks to reduce digital inequality and foster safer online environments for children in Romania and Italy.
▶Activities
The project will implement the following key activities: 1. A Raising Awareness Campaign with billboards in urban and rural areas. 2. Real-Life Documentary Stories featuring video interviews on internet safety. 3. The Collection of Tools and Existing Information for parental control via a digital resource hub. 4. Workshops for Parents and Educators in both Romania and Italy. 5. Effective Project Management through coordination meetings and risk management.
▶Impact
The project will result in: 1. Increased awareness among at least 10,000 parents about online safety. 2. The creation of a digital resource hub accessed by over 1,500 users. 3. Improved digital literacy for at least 500 parents and 50 educators. 4. Positive behavioral changes, with more parents using parental control tools. 5. A stronger sense of community responsibility for children’s online safety.
