Objectives

Enhance the capacity of 5 partners to address compulsive behaviours & screen addictions among youth through the creation of a training methodology of 8 NFE workshops Help 45 youth/country develop coping strategies to manage compulsive behaviours linked to general internet addiction, online gaming & gambling Raise awareness among at least 5000 youth regarding the risks of compulsive behaviours & screen addictions, encouraging them to seek further information/help and enhancing their resilience

Activities

30 youth workers from the 5 partner NGOs will combine their expertise in coaching, psychoeducation, storytelling, art-therapy and evaluation strategies to develop an effective training program consisting of 8 topical workshops. An international training + mentoring will be provided for our teams of y.w. In each country, the training curriculum will be tested with 3 groups of 15 youth aiming to equip the participants with resilience and coping strategies to prevent and reduce screen addiction.

Impact

Improved capability of partners to provide interventions to prevent screen addictions by integrating the methodology & involving 30 y.w. in its implementation 225 youth with improved understanding of compulsive behaviours & increased ability to apply coping strategies to manage their digital use & prevent addictions 5000 youth with increased awareness about screen addictions and their associated risks Outputs:training program,incl. Manual, Workbook & videos;website with youth stories; board-game
