Objectives

The project aims to develop a flexible training program for aspiring electric powertrain engineers, aligned with industry needs and leading to micro-credentials. It will bridge the skills gap by providing modular, accessible content tailored for engineers from diverse backgrounds. By establishing strategic partnerships and selecting effective digital platforms, the project will support the green transition and enhance workforce mobility within the electric vehicle sector.

Activities

The project will implement six key activities: research to identify skills gaps, stakeholder engagement workshops in Sweden and Greece for insight, course planning to develop the curriculum framework, feedback sessions to refine the program, and follow-up activities for final reporting and dissemination. These activities will ensure the training program is aligned with industry needs, inclusive, and widely accessible through digital platforms.

Impact

The project will deliver a comprehensive training framework for electric powertrain engineers, including a curriculum, delivery methods, and micro-credentials. It will strengthen partnerships with industry and education, laying the groundwork for future programs that will reach diverse learners via digital platforms, support workforce mobility, and contribute to the green transition in the electric vehicle sector.
