PROGRESS - Promoting Respect, Opportunity, Growth, and Equitable Social Support

Objective 1) Create in the job market, opportunities for trainees who face obstacles due to their Autism condition, through training of VET providers. Objective 2) Provide tools for organizations hosting VET internships that guarantee the quality of internships and facilitate the inclusion of students with autism. Objective 3) Provide mentors in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) hosting internships with a suitable tool to monitor and certify the hosting experience of VET trainees with Autism.

This activities will be implemented: 3 TPM's, where consortium coordinators will monitor project progress. 1 LTT activity will be organized to equip consortium members with the knowledge needed to develop the E-book aimed at SMEs. 1 E-book developed, will be distributed to at least 10 SMEs p/ partner. 1 Assessment tool will be created for SMEs hosting autistic VET trainees, allowing them to certify their knowledge and inclusive practices. 3 Multiplier Events to promote the results and objcs.

Training of professionals involved (project coordinators/mentors), through learning and training activities. Improving the capacity of SMEs to provide inclusive work environments, where autistic interns can develop their skills and fully integrate into the team. Certification of SMEs that shows capacity and commitment to welcoming autistic interns. Successful inclusion of autistic trainees into the job market, providing with significant opportunities for professional and personal development.
