The project focuses on two main objectives in the field of sustainable cemeteries. We want to educate and provide know-how to selected cemetery administrations and municipal management in both countries in order to apply changes towards cemetery sustainability with regard to biodiversity promotion, climate change adaptation, applying the principles of respect for nature as well as for people. We also aim to educate the public on waste reduction and the ecological footprint of cemeteries.
