Objectives

Our project aims to research traditional Balkan desserts, made in 4 different Balkan countries and transfer them onto new generations. So, we plan to develop a model which partner schools' students & teachers can interact with each other and compare their knowledge with other countries. They will have the opportunity to gain new knowledge, apply different traditional desserts' recipes and transfer them to their institutions. We aim a successful learning-teaching environment for all VET actors.

Activities

During our 18-month traditional Balkan desserts project: 3 TPM meetings of traditional Balkan desserts project will be organized. 1 Students' Learning Teaching Training Activity of our project will be organized. The project results and outcomes will be presented to the participants at the Workshop of Traditional Balkan Desserts Project. Project main outcomes and results: -Project website, -Cookbook of traditional Balkan desserts, -Traditional Balkan desserts' tutorial-recipes' videos, -DVD.

Impact

To change students' negative perception for desserts' lessons. To help teachers learn/teach new traditional Balkan recipes for desserts' lessons. To reduce absenteeism in desserts' lessons. To provide a positive school climate & learning environment for pupils. To provide a better vocational education traning to students. To increase employment opportunities of VET graduates. To develop workshops and lessons of desserts in a better way. To develop intercultural dialogues among Balkan countries.
