Objectives

The DigiLAB project aims to create remote and inclusive learning pathways using digital technology and e-learning for individuals facing barriers to textile laboratory access. By integrating Mixed Reality (MR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its modules, the initiative promotes equitable education in textile quality control, enhancing accessibility and equipping students with essential industry skills.

Activities

The DigiLAB will focus on critical textile testing equipment in quality control training. The partnership will develop new learning materials using Mixed Reality (MR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to provide high-quality education. We will create MR simulations of textile tests and integrate AI-driven virtual assistants. Finally, the curriculum framework will be tested and refined through multiplier events to ensure effectiveness and accessibility.

Impact

Textile learners, educators, and new employees in the textile sector at European, national, and regional levels will enhance their knowledge through newly developed e-learning content, multimedia resources, and digital education via a Mixed Reality (MR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The MR and associated AI applications will raise awareness of effective methodologies for delivering digital learning to diverse community stakeholders.
