Objectives

The project combines digital education with environmental awareness. Students use the micro:bit (a microcontroller that can perform simple tasks) to develop technological solutions for environmental challenges, gaining programming skills, strengthening their environmental awareness, and learning computational thinking. Teachers are trained to integrate digital competencies with environmental education, ensuring the long-term adoption of innovative teaching methods.

Activities

The project includes the development of a teaching guide for environmental projects with the micro:bit, training for teachers, and the implementation of student projects. The pilot phase tests and improves materials. Results are published on the platforms of the project partners and Erasmus, disseminated through workshops, and shared in teacher training sessions. Reflection meetings allow teachers to exchange best practices and optimize the project’s output.

Impact

Expected outcomes include a practical guide for teachers, digital teaching materials, and the implementation of sustainable environmental projects in schools. Students develop technological problem-solving skills, while teachers integrate new methods into their lessons. The project results will be disseminated long-term through digital platforms, training sessions, and school networks to promote the use of simple environmental technologies in educational institutions.
