▶Objectives
The ANPGeriatricCare project aims to sustainably strengthen continuing professional development, including digital and clinical skills in geriatric care for risk identification and minimisation. Through the targeted use of modern, digitally supported learning formats - interactive online modules, practice-oriented training courses and topic-specific workshops - clinical measures are to contribute to risk minimisation and quality improvement in geriatric care.
▶Activities
To realise the project, structured project coordination, the development and implementation of an interactive online training module, two practice-oriented training units, four thematically focused workshops and comprehensive risk management will be implemented. Digital learning content, simulations and best-practice discussions will be integrated in close cooperation between the two partners in order to optimise knowledge transfer and promote digital transformation.
▶Impact
It is expected that at least 70% of healthcare professionals will successfully complete the online training module and improve their practical skills in simulated exercises. Measurable quality improvements, for example in the areas of delirium, dysphagia, falls and malnutrition, are to be documented. An intensive transnational exchange of best practices will be established, which will lead to optimised clinical processes, increased patient safety and sustainable improvement in the long term.
