โ–ถObjectives

The PLEOS project aims to promote high quality early childhood education and care (ECEC) by strengthening digital and inclusive teaching methods. It relies on the systematic professionalisation and support of teachers to improve pedagogical quality. At the same time, it promotes inclusion and diversity so that all children, regardless of their social or cultural background, have equal access to early childhood education.

โ–ถActivities

The project relies on evidence-based methods to professionalise education professionals. These include blended learning approaches, interactive open educational resources, practice-oriented training and workshops, and digital teaching and learning methods. The integration of participatory and collaborative learning formats supports teachers in the sustainable implementation of inclusive educational concepts.

โ–ถImpact

The expected results are a comprehensive policy paper on strengthening high quality in Early Childhood Education, freely accessible OER materials to support teachers, a practical blended learning platform for professional development in Blended Learning settings, and a detailed handbook providing strategies and methods for using different blended learning settings in pre-service, in-service and professional development in the Early Childhood Educational sector.
