Objectives

VAPA will help young theatre artists build capacities (skills and knowledge) in the areas of social theatre, puppeteering and self-entrepreneurship, in order to: a) contribute to the skills development of young artists in these areas, b) co-design opportunities for the demonstration of the acquired skills, c) feed the skills into a professional growth & career development path of the young artists, and thus facilitate their professional development and create job opportunities for them.

Activities

To achieve the objectives, the project will: a) create a learning platform, b) design and deliver training programs in the areas of Socially Engaging Theater, Puppetering, and Self-entrepreneurship c) support the creation of opportunities for participants to demonstrate the skills acquired, structure, guide and facilitate the participants professional and career development path though a series of strategies of promotion, networking and collaboration.

a) 2 training programs (socially engaged theater and puppeteering) b) 30 trainees c) 5 Socially engaged theatre pieces and 10 public performances performances d) 5 puppet sets and scenarios & 15 performances e) 10 Performance action plans for c) and d) f) 30 individual career development plans g) national and international outreach of the results to different stake holders
