Objectives

The project aims to make it easier for women to enter the logistics industry and to qualify them for management positions. To this end, gender-sensitive teaching methods and adaptive learning concepts are being developed that impart both technical and transferable skills (e.g. leadership, negotiation, esilience). Flexible, practice-oriented training programmes and ccompanying mentoring programmes are designed to promote sustainable equal opportunities and combat the shortage of skililled workers

Activities

We will implement activities such as mapping gender-inclusive practices in logistics, developing an e-book and a modular training course (incl. Train-the-Trainer programs), creating a gamified online platform, and conducting mentoring and dissemination initiatives to promote inclusivity and female leadership in the sector. 1 TPM, 1 brainstorming group in Spain and 1 Transnational Conference, 5 national info days and the consortium will participate at the logistic conference as a speaker.

Impact

The project will yield a comprehensive mapping report on gender-inclusive practices and an open-access e-book. It will develop a modular training course reaching 150 women, a Toolkit for Gender Diversity for 50 logistics companies, and equip 50 trainers to launch mentoring programs. Results include mapping reports, practical guidelines, and a user-friendly E-Book promoting gender-inclusive logistics. WOMEN-LEAD will deliver an online platform and mentoring programms.
