Objectives

The project aims to enhance the employability and empowerment of disadvantaged young people (aged 15-30) by promoting informed decision-making about spatial mobility for training and employment opportunities. It encourages self-reflection on mobility needs and barriers due to marginalisation or limited mobility, while providing support to overcome challenges. The initiative will help Youth to build essential skills and confidence, enabling them to pursue opportunities beyond their local area.

Activities

The core of the project is the development of demand-driven training modules on the broad topic of mobility in the context of education and work. The modules will be complemented by trainers' guides and will follow an informal, blended learning approach. Pilot sessions will be conducted in all countries to test the modules. Literature research and interviews with experts and young people form the basis of the development. Widespread networking and dissemination activities complete the project.

Impact

The project will produce 4 national and 1 transnational report (in E,G,SL) summarising a needs analysis of each partner country. The public digitised training programme will consist of 5 modules tailored to the needs of disadvantaged young people and trainers in 3 languages (E,G,SL). The modules will be semi-structured, integrating informal and asynchronous learning, both online and face-to-face. Each country will pilot the training, and the results will be summarised in a report in E,G,SL.
