▶Objectives
The Women Empowering, Allying, and Reinventing Europe on Stage project aims to bring together migrant women and European citizens for empowering theater workshops on European values. It promotes learning for all through creativity and culture. It also includes mutual learning between partners, the development of innovative support techniques, the promotion of civic participation and the creation of tools for social cohesion.
▶Activities
The project includes the development of a shared methodology and dramaturgy between the partners on European values, 3 theatrical experiments in Belgium and Ireland with women followed by performances in front of an audience, training of 3 young artists, a round table on the project's recommendations, the creation of a podcast and a bilingual booklet to disseminate the results.
▶Impact
We hope to contribute to the inclusion of all women, including migrant women, in European societies, empowering them and sharing their experiences. We will develop recommendations that will serve to inspire other projects to continue using artistic practices to create a more inclusive, sustainable and diverse European society.
