▶Objectives
The CaféIAssos France-Belgique project aims to equip associations in France and Belgium so that they can play a key role in digital democracy in the era of AI. By relying on popular and continuing education methodologies, it promotes a participatory approach, allowing association employees and volunteers to take ownership of the challenges of artificial intelligence and data. The project is supported by SAW-B, SOGA and FARI.
▶Activities
The project aims to deploy and document six sectoral AI Cafés and a Transnational AI Café in Brussels, adapted to the needs of associations in the medico-social, popular education and socio-professional integration sectors. It will implement an open participatory animation and research methodology, to train around thirty facilitators and multiply these workshops in French-speaking Belgium and France.
▶Impact
The initiative is aimed directly at at least 200 employees and volunteers, spread across seven IA Assos Cafés in France and Belgium, with 30 participants per session. These meetings will take place in Hauts-de-France, the Grand Est Region, Île-de-France, and Wallonia, with a closing transnational event in Brussels. The project will also train 30 facilitators, to be able to deploy the project and thus indirectly reach more than 500 final beneficiaries.
