Objectives

Doughnut Economics helps societies and organisations operate within ecological limits while upholding social justice. This project aims to develop an educational course specifically for cooperatives and cultural organisations in Belgium and Croatia. By providing tools to create distributive and regenerative organisations, it will equip participants with practical skills to enhance resilience, well-being, and sustainability, while fostering peer learning and transnational collaboration.

Activities

The course will be developed with feedback from the target groups to ensure it meets their needs. It will then be delivered, followed by an in-depth transnational meeting for engaged participants. Key takeaways will be published and actively disseminated through local and international networks, and the project will conclude with an evaluation to assess its impact and effectiveness.

Impact

The project expects to engage 100 multipliers who will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to apply the tools that Doughnut Economics provides, enabling transformative practices in their own ecosystems and work communities. Furthermore, this contributes to the wider impact of tackling climate change and ensuring that our societies operate safely within planetary boundaries while simultaneously ensuring a good life for all.
