NBsWISE enhances Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) for hydroclimatic risk management through education, research, digital tools, and stakeholder engagement. It integrates IoT sensors, AI models, and GIS tools to improve NbS monitoring. The project trains students, researchers, and policymakers, engages citizens in NbS monitoring, and fosters policy integration. Expected outcomes include digital learning resources, real-world case studies, and high-level stakeholder events.

NBsWISE will implement IoT-based NbS monitoring, AI-driven predictive modeling, and GIS tools to assess hydroclimatic risks. Activities include training workshops for policymakers, citizen science programs, community engagement events, and interactive e-learning modules. The project will conduct field studies, stakeholder dialogues, and interdisciplinary research to enhance NbS adoption and policy integration across Europe.

NBsWISE will deliver IoT-based NbS monitoring systems, AI-driven predictive models, and interactive digital dashboards. It will produce open-access learning resources, NbS policy recommendations, and validated case studies. The project will train 200+ policymakers and professionals, engage 300+ citizens in NbS monitoring, and host high-level stakeholder events, ensuring long-term impact on NbS adoption and climate resilience strategies.
