โ–ถObjectives

In response to the omnipresence of digital technology, Play Test! promotes a citizen-driven reappropriation of technology by integrating practices from maker cultures, Do It Yourself, and permacomputing. In collaboration with KIKK, Creative Coding Utrecht, and NODE Forum, the project trains youth workers in critical and creative tools through three digital workshops across Europe. It fosters experimentation, digital inclusion, and educational innovation.

โ–ถActivities

Play Test! implements three digital creativity workshops in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, where youth workers and artists explore sustainable, creative, and critical digital practices. Each partner also organizes a public showcase event, and the methodologies are documented in open-source format to ensure their widespread dissemination and lasting impact.

โ–ถImpact

Play Test! will train 120 youth workers, enabling them to integrate sustainable and creative digital practices into their activities with the support of professionals and creatives. Three immersive workshops will develop innovative methodologies, documented in open-source format for broad dissemination. Public showcase events will foster exchange and adoption of tools, ensuring a lasting impact on the youth sector across Europe.
