▶Objectives
The project aims to raise the awareness and knowledge of young people and VET learners on environmental, health and safety issues and to contribute to their safe work and environmentally friendly behaviour, thus increasing their employment potential in a national, regional and European context.
▶Activities
In addition to general activities such as management and promotion, activities include needs assessment and research on knowledge and awareness on safe working conditions and environment (study of existing teaching content by subjects, identification of challenges and demands on the labour market), development of personalised teaching materials, further training of teachers and trainers, training of students, trainees, unemployed, young people with fewer opportunities from VET.
▶Impact
Minimum 10 trainers and minimum 90 participants trained and equipped with environmental, health and safety skills. The developed resources on OHS issues will be used in further briefings and trainings. Findings from VET teachers from North Macedonia and Bulgaria can be extrapolated to entire countries. UNIFOS will gain valuable information for designing appropriate content to be used in similar institutions in Serbia.
