▶Objectives
The primary goal of this project is to create and execute an innovative training program designed for caregivers (professional and non professionals), and other individuals, with the intention of enhancing their proficiency and understanding in utilizing technology within the realm of elderly caregiving. The objective of this project is to improve the overall well-being of elderly individuals and their families while also establishing a viable framework for caregiver education and assistance.
▶Activities
The project will implement several activities aimed at improving the quality of elderly care by: research and identification of the target group needs, developing a tailored educational material based on those needs, conducting training sessions for the caregivers, gathering feedback from the trainees, adapting the educational material based on the feedback, and disseminating project results through various channels for more impact.
▶Impact
The project aims to improve the quality of care for elderly people in Greece, Cyprus, and all other countries facing this challenge (EU reach), through the development and implementation of innovative training programs (in English) for caregivers (VET). The expected results include the creation of educational material and an online platform, increased knowledge and skills of caregivers, improved communication and collaboration among them, and ultimately, improved quality of life for the elderly.
