About 15% of strokes occur in young adults, and by 2047, stroke rates in the EU will rise by 27%, with a 43.8% increase among those aged 25-44. Young People with Stroke (YPwS) have unique needs, requiring age-specific, accessible information. The "Accessible Resources for Young People with Stroke" (ARYAS) project will co-create relevant, understandable resources in collaboration with YPwS, families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and tech experts to support self-management and awareness.
