▶Objectives
This project empowers youth to embrace sustainable living and active roles in environmental protection. They will gain the knowledge, skills, and motivation to build a greener future, fostering eco-conscious habits and responsible citizenship. The "Young Goes Green" guide covers key aspects of sustainable living, e.g. waste reduction and sustainable consumption. It offers hands-on tips, real-life examples, and inspiring stories to encourage eco-friendly choices in daily life.
▶Activities
Based on the survey, following the LARS idea, the students will study the subject of sustainability from various points of view and they will respond to these issues. They will produce activities for lessons/workshops at schools. They will share scientific knowledge and develop skills, exchange ideas and practical experience through short-term exchanges. In the final part, the pupils will make their pledge about how they will implement their experience in their individual/school/community life.
▶Impact
As the tangible result there will be a set of activities for lessons/workshops at schools collected in the “"Young Goes Green: A Teen's Guide to Eco-Friendly Living,"” guide. Additionally, the participation will make the pupils realise the current issues of climate change and sustainability and respond to them proactively: formulating their pledge and introducing new rules to their schools/communities/families that will bring about more responsible consumption and sustainability.
