Objectives

Our project aims to enhance secondary school students' mathematical skills and equip teachers with engaging resources for teaching secondary school mathematics. We'll create 600 interactive games, expand real-world examples with methodological sheets, enable teacher collaboration through shared tests and games, improve portal functionality and security, and increase awareness of math4u.vsb.cz across partner countries, all while maintaining multilingual support.

Activities

A platform for practising all secondary school mathematics will be further developed in collaboration between secondary school and university teachers. Enriched real-world problems and a large number of new training games will be available in five languages (English, Spanish, Czech, Slovak, Polish) and will be usable on smartphones, tablets, and computers. Teachers can share tests and games prepared by their more experienced colleagues.

Impact

The project will enrich the five-language portal math4u.vsb.cz with: - a new set of Training Games to systematically reinforce basic knowledge and math skills, - enriched Real-World Problems that foster intrinsic motivation to learn, - new Teacher app, which will introduce several key improvements to facilitate collaboration and provide valuable insights for educators, - Teacher guides and User manuals to support teachers and students in utilizing the Math4U portal applications.
