Objectives

We want to encourage students in defining and expressing their identity. To achieve this, we want to upskill teachers in teaching methods enabling students to get to know themselves and accept who they are and to express themselves using various types of arts (Music, Dance, Drama, Writing etc.) and to be able to identify and tackle with all kinds of gender stereotypes that may affect their educational and career choices.

Activities

1. Learning activities organised in each partner country, consisting of school visit, lesson observations, experiencing teaching methods, discussions and presentation of what works well. 2. Inspirational online catalogue through collection of best methods and lessons activities that will be created by the participating teachers in their country languages and English. 3. Management and dissemination to ensure the project achieves its objectives and the results will reach the target group

Impact

Teachers will be equipped further to deal with and promote pedagogy of identity, self-awareness and acceptance, respect, self-expression. They will improve language competences, softer skills including confidence and personal effectiveness. They will improve their communication skills as well. The project will provide resources and methodology which will be available on-line in all partner languages and English to enable delivery across Europe.
