▶Objectives
EUMathClass aims to enhance future mathematics teachers' diagnostic competencies to better identify and address students' learning difficulties. By developing five modular, implemented training materials and implementing an international COIL seminar with over 90 student participants, the project seeks to improve teacher education, promote inclusive learning and foster long-term institutional cooperation across Europe, ensuring the sustainability of its outcomes beyond the project’s duration.
▶Activities
The project will develop five training modules, pilot and fully implement an international COIL seminar with over 90 student participants and organize the European Contest for Math Learning Support (ECMLS) to showcase best student projects. Dissemination activities include six multiplier events (150 participants) and a final conference with at least 60 participants, OER resources and targeted digital outreach to engage teacher educators, students and educational stakeholders across Europe.
▶Impact
EUMathClass will deliver five training modules, a sustainable COIL seminar with over 90 student participants and accessible educational resources. Expected outcomes include improved diagnostic skills among future teachers, integration of modules into at least four partner curricula and widespread adoption of materials beyond the consortium. The project will foster long-term improvements in mathematics teacher education, benefiting students, educators and institutions across Europe.
