Objectives

GO1. To increase local learning centers capacity to promote sustainable adventure tourism GO2. to enhance the integrate health education activities in tourism packages for seniors GO3. To increase seniors’ participation in tourism, including seniors with health to social obstacles GO4. To increase adult educators competences in promoting sustainable and health tourism for seniors

Activities

The SATRAS project will develop guidelines for promoting sustainable adventure tourism for seniors (A2), conduct a pilot testing in Veneto (A3), and create a digital course platform with modules on sustainable tourism for seniors (A4). Finally, workshops on adventure tourism for seniors, including "Rowing and Canoeing for Seniors" and rural tourism, will be held, alongside a transnational meeting and promotional event in Germany (A5).

Impact

A2 Guidelines: 1,000 adult educators across Europe will access the guidelines, enhancing their ability to promote sustainable adventure tourism for seniors A3 Pilot Testing: 6 adult educators and 3 trainers will directly participate in the pilot testing in Veneto, Italy, testing the guide A4 Digital Course: tested on 60 seniors. The online platform will reach at least 1,000 seniors and adult educators, providing them with accessible learning. A5. Final event: at least 50 people in presence.
