▶Objectives
BAGAL equips 120 freelance adult educators from Slovenia and Germany with actionable AI-driven teaching strategies, tools, and ethical AI practices, aligning with UNESCO’s AI competency framework, and AI act. Through structured training, mentoring, and digital resources, we address the AI skills gap in adult education, ensuring inclusive, non-discriminatory and responsible and creative AI adoption.
▶Activities
Deliver a 3-part AI workshop series and 4 mentoring sessions to develop AI competencies; 2) Establish a cross-border AI educator network (120 members) for peer learning and problem-solving; 3) Develop and disseminate AI-enhanced resources (podcasts, best-practice compendiums, and impact assessment framework) to a wider network of 1000+ educators via EPALE, EAEA, and social platforms.
▶Impact
1) A practical AI curriculum with 10 AI assistants and OER tailored for freelance adult educators, covering AI pedagogy, ethics, and integration; 2) A sustainable educator community fostering AI adoption beyond the project’s duration; 3) Open-access AI training materials and assessment framework, ensuring long-term impact and knowledge-sharing across Europe.
