Objectives

The project promotes awareness of discrimination and inequality by providing marginalized groups with a space to exchange experiences about barriers and discrimination. Creative methods are used to develop and test action strategies (empowerment). In collaboration with A.D.A. Puławska, different experiences in dealing with discrimination and inclusion in various contexts are brought together to create sustainable, transnational approaches for greater inclusion.

Activities

Several trips to Poland and Berlin are planned. At the beginning, theater pedagogy methods such as image theater, as well as readings and inputs from inclusion activists, will be offered in Berlin. The second trip focuses on visits to the Polish LGBTQI+ community and forum theater to make discrimination visible and develop action strategies. The final trip includes the further development of the format, a performance in Berlin, as well as joint evaluation and reporting.

Impact

The project promotes the awareness and empowerment of participants and creates solidarity-based solutions. Through learning and safe spaces, they will reflect on their experiences of discrimination and actively work against inequalities. Expected outcomes include two public theater performances, digital publications, continuation through multipliers, networking, collaborations, and a sustainable EU-wide anti-discrimination network.
