▶Objectives
Heritage RE:START empowers adult learners and local partners by offering tools, knowledge, and motivation to convert historic or underused buildings into community-focused learning centers, cultural venues, or social ventures. Via cross-border collaboration, it advances heritage-driven social innovation, inclusive governance, and sustainable development, stimulating civic involvement and lifelong learning.
▶Activities
Activities include desk research, interviews, and study visits in France and Germany to gather innovative approaches in heritage-focused social initiatives. A hands-on toolkit will help learners kick-start reuse projects. Results will be shared at four public events, in partner meetings, and online. Ongoing knowledge exchanges between APG and SBT guarantee that the project’s impact continues well beyond its official timeframe.
▶Impact
A user-friendly toolkit will guide heritage repurposing strategies, viable business models, and stakeholder engagement. It will enhance entrepreneurial skills among adult learners, connect cultural professionals with decision-makers, and reinforce cooperation between APG, SBT, and community groups. Outcomes remain accessible online, enabling future efforts in heritage-based education and social innovation.
